Images have always moved me. They are like a bridge, a signpost for my life and my faith in God. He speaks to me through images. 

In my training as an art therapist specializing in design and painting therapy, I also learned the value of images in connection with memory and our emotions. Images leave their mark. Images stay - or can change through painting. It is not just painting alone that can bring change. Through mirror neurons, it is even possible to experience change by observing a painting process. 
So it does not surprise me that God needs pictures to speak into our lives. By looking and "listening in" a path opens - the way for newness begins to blossom in our heart.
